The Danish Agricultural Agency is the official body for seed certification in Denmark.

The Danish Ministry of Environment and Food is responsible for the national regulations for seed control and certification. The Danish Agricultural Agency is the regulating body for field inspection, sampling, seed testing, post control and issuance of certificates for all species, including the following :

  • Cereal including maize and sorghum
  • Fodder plants
  • Oil and Fibre species
  • Beet
  • Vegetables
  • Grasses
  • Legumes
