Mattilsynet, The Norwegian Food Safety Authority, is the body responsible for seed certification in Norway and is organised under the Ministry of Food and agriculture.
All work concerning sampling, field inspection, seed testing, post control, issuance and approving the national regulations for seed control and certification is performed or supervised by Mattilsynet.
