The decision 2004/842/EC describes conditions for Member States to authorise the marketing of seeds belonging to varieties for which an application for registration in the National Catalogue has been submitted (seeds marketed with orange labels).
According to the article 7 of the decision and the utilisation of seeds per species, maximum quantities per variety which can be marketed yearly are defined (see the link below).
